Steps to Better Health is an effective self-management education program for people with chronic health problems. The program specifically addresses arthritis, diabetes, lung and heart disease, but teaches skills useful for managing a variety of chronic conditions. This program was developed at Stanford University. We will meet every Monday for 6 weeks, 2 hours a week.

Anyone can take part: men, women, businesses, organizations, etc. Turn in your completed bra and entry form to the YWCA. Then wait to see if you won the 2016 World Cups award! Hospice Partners in conjunction with Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory are hosting another youth support group to address grief in our children in hopes of building a better tomorrow for St. Joseph. Following the kickoff event September 22nd, 6:00pm – 7:00pm the group will meet for a six (6) week period, on Thursdays from 5:30pm – 6:30pm, starting on September 29th at the Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory Community Room located at 5005 Fredrick Boulevard. This event is for youth ages 5 – 18. Enrollment is limited to 20 youth/per six week session, free of charge and repeat participants are welcome! Parents and/or legal guardians are always welcome to stay. Hospice Partners is a service-driven organization relentlessly focused on patient care, customer service and compliance.
