Plantar wart

Overview

Plantar warts are hard, grainy growths that usually appear on the heels or balls of the feet. Plantar warts are caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV). The warts can be painful.

Treatments

Treatments include over-the-counter remedies, salicylic acid, freezing medicine, lasers, or surgery.
