Wart

Overview

Warts are small, fleshy bumps on the skin or mucous membranes caused by the human papillomavirus. Warts can be spread person to person or to another area of a person's own body by contact with the wart.

Symptoms

Warts often occur on the hands, feet, and genitals.

Treatments

Treatment may include topical medications and removal through medical procedures.
